"I saw Michelle for almost 6 years, starting when I was 24 until now 30. Before her I'd seen numerous therapists for over 10 years and no one helped me the way Michelle did. I cannot recommend her enough.
She really pushed me to figure out why my thinking was the way it was. She really talked to me and really listened to me.
While I know I did all of the hard work, I really credit her in helping me get healthy for the first time in my life. I'm eternally grateful."

"My fiance and I went to Michelle to get help.
We had many appointments with Michelle and throughout our sessions my fears were addressed - mainly my fear that I wouldn't get heard or that I would be singled out, as I'm not the easiest to get along with.
My fears were rarely realized and if I did feel I was being singled out, I felt comfortable enough to speak up and all issues were addressed in a nurturing environment.
Michelle helped me to better understand why I do the things I do and helped me better communicate with my now wife. Things aren't perfect, yet much better and if we ever have any issues as a married couple, it's great to know that Michelle can help us any time we ask."

"I never thought I would be one of those people who was always gushing about her therapist and telling other people to get therapy. Don't get me wrong, I always had a healthy respect for mental health professionals and thought seeking counseling was a good idea for lots of people - just not for me. You know, that one time I with the stodgy lady my EAP sent me to, it was just a disaster, so OBVIOUSLY therapy was just not going to be my thing.
Yeah, that thing where they say you have to find the *right* therapist is totally no joke. Lucky for me, I did!
I won't get into my specific brand of issues, but suffice to say I HAVE PLENTY, and Michelle has been freakin' amazing at working with me on them. I've been seeing her for just over six months, and she basically helped me come back from a total nervous breakdown in that time. Besides the usual talky stuff, using art as a therapeutic tool was a revelation for me - a really great way to sidestep some of my resistance to the whole process.
Most important for me, though, was the fact that Michelle isn't only open to creative/artsy therapy techniques, but is also an artist herself. I know it's a cliche, but I really think artists understand other artists better than people who don't have that bug.
Logistically speaking, billing has been a breeze (even with a whopper of an insurance snafu), the new office is cozy and convenient to bus and train (and I actually think parking isn't too bad, either, if you're driving), and scheduling has always been incredibly flexible and convenient (since I work a day job and try to also have, you know, a life).
To sum: Michelle is awesome and I can't recommend her enough - especially for creative types."

"I am recently divorced and as resilient as I thought I was, it got to a point where I realized I needed to talk through some of the anxiety and feelings I was having. What can I say about Michelle, she is kind, understanding, extremely intelligent and really easy to talk to. Over the last 4 months I met with her on a weekly basis and learned the tools that I needed to help me through this difficult time in my life. I finally have my confidence back and feel more like me than I have felt in years! Thanks Michelle, you are a true healer!"
